PAPAGAYO
FLOWERS has an special agreement with some of the most important breeders
worldwide known as Hilverda and Barberet & Blanc to field test
new varieties. Some of these new varieties are already being offer
to the market, but others are in a previous phase and according to
their behavior they will become into new varieties to offer to the
market. Specially that point gives PAPAGAYO FLOWERS the advantage
to have varieties that will be introduced to the market in a future.
Besides that, our technical department chooses new varieties focusing
on the market directions, customers needs and main production characteristics.
Then, a selected group of customers receive a sample of the new varieties
we are testing to evaluate its behavior and the market response to
them.
Taking into consideration all the above, PAPAGAYO FLOWERS chooses
the new varieties to be included in its normal annual production.
